HOSPITALITY

Established in 1998, the Riviera Marriott La Porte de Monaco is the first Marriott Hotel in the French Riviera. Located just minutes from the Prince's Palace of Monaco, 50 metres from the beach and offering a breath-taking view over the Port of Cap d'Ail, it is part of the Marriott Hotels & Resorts brand. This luxury hotel has 186 rooms including 15 suites, on 11 levels, and offers numerous services and facilities such as a swimming pool and fitness room.

THE stakes

As part of Marriott brand of hotels, the Riviera Marriott Hotel has to offer excellent service that is at the level of customers' expectations.

THE SOLUTION

The Riviera Marriott Hotel rolled out 11 Rubbermaid FG618900BLA high capacity housekeeping carts, specifically one cart per floor. The cart was a good fit for the luxury hotel as it is durable, ergonomic and has a large amount of storage space. By using this, all equipment and materials required for providing a high level of service is within reach. From sheets, towels, pillowcases and toilet rolls, all the way to cleaning tools like mops, cloths, dusters and vacuum cleaners, the cart can carry all of these supplies. This means the need to go back and forth to the supply room is not as frequent and the staff can carry out their duties effectively and efficiently.

implementation

"The RCP housekeeping Carts have numerous benefits: easier to use and ergonomic with high storage capacity. They play a role in improving cleaning efficiency and productivity. Moreover, they are practical and intelligent which contribute even more to the comfort of the employees. Finally, their sleek and stylish design and their discretion are perfectly suited to the demands of a luxury hotel."
