High Absorbency Spill Mop designed for busy healthcare, hospitality and retail environments where liquid spills are a common health and slip hazard.
Developed at the Newell Brands Design Centre after extensive field research, the High Absorbency Spill Mop (kit and accessories) is the answer for dealing with the accidental liquid spills and incidents that occur on a daily basis, presenting a serious slip hazard for staff, patients or customers if not dealt with immediately.
This innovative spill management solution features a clever no-touch quick-release design so the user can dispose of the mop pad after use without coming into contact with any liquid or contaminated substance. The single-use, disposable pad is made of highly-absorbent non-drip materials that lock liquid inside to contain mess during disposal.

The Spill Mop dries the floor up to 50 per cent faster than a traditional string mop, effectively cutting cleaning time by half. The mop pad is made of highly-absorbent polyacrylate material which can absorb approx. 1 litre of water or 400ml of high-density fluid (saline or similar) in 30 seconds. The non-drip, no-leak mop pad absorbs and locks in liquid and hazardous fluids, turning it into a gel to prevent dripping, for maximum safety when dealing with potentially contaminated spills. The handy, extendable grip mop handle features an integrated quick release clamp, so the user avoids contact with the soiled mop during disposal.
Both the retractable mop handle and spill pads are ultra-compact so can be stored close to service areas, ready for use in seconds. A wall mounted cabinet that holds 20 pads provides a convenient storage solution.
